First beginners course 8th April
2008 - they are running ALL summer this year!
See the bottom of the page for details |

Beginners
courses will consist of four sessions of approximately two hours duration.
The club will provide all the necessary equipment so all you need to bring
along is yourself. Juniors between the ages of eleven to fourteen are required to have a Parent or Guardian present throughout. We regret that the club cannot accommodate juniors under the age of eleven unless their Parent or Guardian is already a full member of the club or is also attending the same course. |
Pupils will need to wear tight fitting
upper garments, so as not to interfere with the bowstring. |
|
| The cost of the beginners course is currently £30.00 plus a refundable deposit for use of a platform tab. |

|
Financially, the best time to become a full member is around May, when the full year’s membership fee is due. If you take a beginners’ course at other times and subsequently join the club, then you would only complete a part year before your next year’s subs are due again in May. Some people are so keen that they choose not to wait and they willingly pay the extra money. |

Beginners who join the club are able to continue
to use the club equipment until they are ready to purchase their own. Do not buy equipment until you have some experience and have talked to a qualified club coach or senior club member. Check out some of the info contained on this site about styles of shooting, bow types, tournaments and some of our archers experiences. |
If you are interested in trying archery with Brixham Archers or would like further details on our beginners’ courses, then please contact either:- The Club Coach - Malcolm |
