Hoyt Charger Bow for Sale

1

This is my Charger that I have shot for just over a year. It’s a left handed bow, the 30 – 40lb model in blue. The draw length is 26.5 at the moment, although I have modules to adjust it to 25 inches if you want.

It’s in very good condition, with a couple of nicks on the paint, where the rest has been adjusted or changed, and the wear you would expect on the string shocks. The photos show all of this. The strings and cables are all fine, and there is a D loop fitted.

The new price for the bow is £439 in Quicks at the moment. I’m offering this at £300 ono.

Club Champs

As you all are aware the rerun of the club champs is this Sunday 24th Aug,arrive 09.30 for 10.00 start. We are shooting St George, Albion, Windsors etc, distances for ALL abilities and ages. You don’t necessarily have to be the best archer to win, there is the handicap trophy ( you all know what your handicap is? ) and the novice trophy.

The club is supplying burgers and bacon, please bring your own baps, and the urn will be on. We are asking for your support in raising money for the H4H Bear B Q

so if you would like to make a donation for your free burger that would be much appreciated.

Its your club, please support it.

Cheers, Paul.

Club Championships

Hi all

As you may have heard, we are planning the club champs for this weekend, weather permitting. There may well have to be a last minute change of plan, but if so, I will get an email out ASAP.

Everyone is welcome, and rounds will be available on the Sunday for new members and juniors to shoot. Everyone is welcome at the clout too.

The plan so far is that on Saturday morning, starting at 9.30, we will have a 2-way longbow shoot. (This means that there will be no other shooting possible).

During the afternoon, there will be a clout shoot. If you have never tried a clout shoot, you really need to have a go, it’s great fun. Recurve bows without sights, and longbows are used for a clout.

On Sunday, we will be shooting a St. George, Albion and the Windsor rounds, to allow everyone to shoot an appropriate distance for their experience. Again, it’s a 9.30 start, so that its not the same few people setting up bosses for everyone.

The barbecue will be lit, and the club will provide burgers and bacon, but you will need to bring your own rolls. the urn will also be on, and I understand that there may be other beverages available, on ice!

I hope I haven’t forgotten anything. I’m sure that others of the committee will let me know and I’ll be back to you shortly if I have.

Lets hope for good weather and a good turnout. I look forward to seeing lots of you on the shooting line.
